EV 8 | Water softener

Water softener with automatic controller, digital display, special ion exchange resin to remove calcium and magnesium ions dissolved in water. Operating capacity: 0.6 m3 / hour. Resin volume: 8 liters. In the control head of the water softener, a flow meter measures the amount of water flowing, after reaching the set value the device automatically performs the regeneration. The control time and quantity are controlled, the device requires night current. Amount of salt required for regeneration: 1-1.6 kg, amount of water required for regeneration: 100 liters. During regeneration, the special resin is washed with concentrated brine, removing the calcium and magnesium ions that leave the drain with the wash water. The brine and the drinking water never come into contact, so the regeneration and drinking water systems are completely separate. Thus, the EV-8 water softener guarantees the best quality drinking water. Permissible water temperature 4-44 ° C, connection size: 3/4 "(external).

The appliance is equipped with a bypass valve, which allows the water softener to be disconnected from the mains in the event of a fault or water hardness adjustment.

For the purpose of physical filtration, a water filter can be purchased as an option, its installation in front of the water softener is mandatory in all cases.
